Da Nang

HOW Domestic flights arrive at Danang airport as well as a few international flights. Road from Hue, Hoi An and further south.

WHAT The beaches south of Danang are some of the best in Vietnam with an increasing number of high end resorts as well as golf courses. Nearby are the Marble Mountains, home to caves, grottoes and temples as well as a stone carving village. In Danang the Cham Museum has a collection of artefacts from the Cham civilisation.

WHEN Danang’s weather is changeable, but the dry season is from March to August with high temperatures. The rainy season from September to January coincides with the high season for visits to Vietnam and there is a risk of heavy rain from October to December. The first three months of the year can be a little cooler.
